André i Albert to przedstawiciele plemienia pigmejów Aka, żyjącego na skraju lasu w Republice Środkowoafrykańskiej. Dzięki nim poznajemy społeczność, która żyje w zgodzie z naturą i tradycyjnymi wierzeniami i pozyskuje wszystko, co potrzebne im do życia, z lasu. Jako jedyni w wiosce zdobyli wykształcenie i sami starają się nauczyć pisać i czytać dzieci ze swego plemienia, a także wysłać część z nich do prawdziwej szkoły. Jest to niezwykłe zadanie w sytuacji, gdy ich jedynym środkiem płatniczym są gąsienice (makongo), lokalny przysmak tego regionu, który mogą sprzedać w oddalonej o kilka dni jazdy ciężarówką stolicy kraju.

André and Albert are members of the Aka pygmy tribe, living at the edge of the forest in the Central African Republic. Through them, we get to know a community that lives in harmony with nature and traditional beliefs and obtains everything they need to live from the forest. They are the only ones in the village who have received an education and are trying to teach the children of their tribe to read and write, as well as send some of them to a proper school. This is an extraordinary task when their only means of payment is caterpillars (makongo), a local delicacy of the region, which they can take by truck to sell in the capital city a few days away.
