A Muslim believer, returning from Mecca, takes the title of El Hadj. However, he does not hesitate to covet the young Satou, who is destined for Garba. Furious, Garba has no choice but to leave the village for the city. But a more serious drama unfolds: El Hadj’s second wife, Gaika, does not accept the intruder and, to prevent the marriage, decides to kill her on the night.
